SWEET AND SOUR PORK

Ingredients (2 servings)

½ lb pork (cubed) *

1/2 cup pineapple chunks

1 stick carrots (sliced)

1/2 small onion (wedged)
-
1/2 medium green bell pepper (diced)

¼ cup your favorite crispy batter
-
4 tbsp Asian Menu™ Sweet & Sour Sauce
-
2 cups oil
* You can substitute the pork with beef, chicken, shrimp, scallops or vegetables.
Preparing it (10 - 15 minutes)

Cut pork into small cubes.

Remove excess water from pork.

Coat pork with batter.

Peel and slice carrots on a bias.

Cut onions into wedges.

Cut green bell peppers into 1 inch dice.
Cooking it (7 minutes)

Blanch, onions and green bell peppers into boiling water for 10 seconds.

Heat oil in fryer over high heat until hot (approx. 350°F).

Deep fry pork until fully cooked, then remove from oil and set aside.

Heat Asian Menu™ Sweet and Sour Sauce in skillet or wok until bubbly hot.

Add vegetables, pork and pineapple. Toss until sauce fully coats food.
