Ingredients (2 servings)

  • ½ lb pork (cubed) *

  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks

  • 1 stick carrots (sliced)

  • 1/2 small onion (wedged)

  • 1/2 medium green bell pepper (diced)

  • ¼ cup your favorite crispy batter

  • 4 tbsp Asian Menu™ Sweet & Sour Sauce 

  • 2 cups oil 

* You can substitute the pork with beef, chicken, shrimp, scallops or vegetables.

Preparing it (10 - 15 minutes)

  1. Cut pork into small cubes.

  2. Remove excess water from pork.

  3. Coat pork with batter.

  4. Peel and slice carrots on a bias.

  5. Cut onions into wedges.

  6. Cut green bell peppers into 1 inch dice.

Cooking it (7 minutes)

  1. Blanch, onions and green bell peppers into boiling water for 10 seconds.

  2. Heat oil in fryer over high heat until hot (approx. 350°F).

  3. Deep fry pork until fully cooked, then remove from oil and set aside. 

  4. Heat Asian Menu™ Sweet and Sour Sauce in skillet or wok until bubbly hot.

  5. Add vegetables, pork and pineapple. Toss until sauce fully coats food.
