FIRECRACKER CALAMARI

Ingredients (2 servings)

  • 5 oz. calamari  

  • 1 oz. General Tso’s Sauce

  • 1/8 tsp black sesame seeds 

  • 1/8 tsp white sesame seeds 

  • 1 tsp wasabi powder 

  • Tempura batter 

Preparing it (5 minutes)

  1. Dust calamari with tempura batter until sticky. 

  2. Dust calamari again until no longer sticking together.

Cooking it (5 minutes)

  1. Deep fry calamari.  

  2. Toss in a bowl with 1 oz General Tso’s Sauce then plate up.

  3. Mix wasabi powder with 1 tbsp water and drizzle over calamari 6. Top off with sesame seeds.
