eggplant with garlic sauce chinese recipe
Eggplant sautéed in a spicy sesame garlic sauce.
Ingredients (2 servings)
  • 1 medium eggplant
  • 4 tbsp Asian Menu™ Sesame Garlic Sauce & Marinade
  • 1 stalk scallion
  • 1 tbsp oil

Preparing it (3 minutes)
  1. Peel skin off the eggplant.
  2. Cut eggplant into cubes.
  3. Dice scallions.

Cooking it (5 minutes)
  1. Blanch eggplant in boiling water until slightly soft (approx. 15 seconds).
  2. Heat oil in wok or skillet over high heat until hot (approx. 350°F).
  3. Add eggplant and Asian Menu™ Sesame Garlic Sauce & Marinade and stir fry until sauce fully coats eggplant.
  4. Garnish with scallions.
