chicken lo mein chinese recipe
Chicken and vegetables stir fried with choice of pasta in a brown sauce.
Ingredients (2 servings)
  • 1 lb cooked noodle (or pasta)
  • 6 oz chicken breast *
  • 4 oz snow peas
  • ˝ small red bell pepper
  • 1 stick carrot
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 stalk scallion
  • 4 tbsp Asian Menu™ Lo Mein Sauce & Marinade
  • 1 ˝ tbsp oil
* You can substitute chicken with beef, pork, seafood, and vegetables.

Preparing it (8 minutes)
  1. Cut chicken into thin strips and remove excess water.
  2. Cut the ends of the snow peas.
  3. Slice red bell pepper, carrot and celery into thin strips.
  4. Cut onion into wedges.
  5. Chop scallions.

Cooking it (9 minutes)
  1. Boil noodle until just done.
  2. Blanch snow peas, red peppers, carrots, celery and onions in boiling water for 15 seconds.
  3. Heat oil in wok or skillet at high heat (approx. 350°F).
  4. Stir fry chicken until done.
  5. Add vegetables, noodle and Asian Menu™ Lo Mein Sauce & Marinade.
  6. Toss until sauce fully coats food.
  7. Garnish with scallions.
